Open Space and Recreation Open Forum, Friday, May 30th

This event has already occurred.

There will be an open forum on open space and recreation in Littleton on Friday, May 30th. Bring your ideas about lands to be saved permanently (open space, agriculture), areas to be protected, trails, bike paths, walkways, cross-town connections and connections with other towns, green corridors, policies and programs (e.g., hunting, dogs, addressing ticks). What do you want to see done and or funded in the coming 5 or so years? Come to the open forum and make sure your ideas get into the OS&R planning process.

The Open Space and Recreation Plan Implementation Committee must revise Littleton’s open space and recreation plan every five years in order for the Town to continue to qualify for grant money from the state, and to help guide the Town in its future actions regarding open space and recreation planning. Because the Committee seeks to understand what the town’s people want for the Town, we invite the public to attend a public forum on Friday, May 30th, at 7 p.m. in the Couper Room at the RHL. Please attend to have your say, ask questions, and make suggestions about open space, recreation, and its uses. All input will help guide the Committee in shaping the Town’s 2014 open space and recreation plan.

OSRP Committee members along with representatives from various invited town entities will attend.

There will be refreshments.
