Date changed to Sunday due to weather forecast!
Would you like to get outdoors and help the Littleton Conservation Trust re-blaze one of our conservation land trails?
Hartwell Conservation Area could use some trail blaze freshening up, and we would love for you to help!
We are searching for volunteers available this day to help install yellow, red and blue trail blazes on the trails.
Maps, Blazes, and Nails will be provided.
Please bring a hammer if you have one (I also find if you have a carpenters tool belt it could be very helpful but not necessary).
I recently walked within the trails and they are mostly dry. But you will cross some wet areas. So waterproof boots are suggested. Gloves are also suggested. Also be prepared to protect yourself from ticks / poison ivy / flying bugs!
We need at least 6 volunteers (the more the merrier though). A pair of 2 volunteers each should stay together throughout the conservation land.
If it rains enough to be a miserable day out there, Sunday 5/21 is our rain date.
Any questions or to RSVP please contact Alyssa Russell (firstname.lastname@example.org or 978-844-0376)
Check out the Littleton Trails Facebook Event Page as well to RSVP!
Thank you in advance for your volunteer work! Hope to see you out there!
