For the event, Dirigible Brewing Company is introducing a new, limited production raspberry beer, and there will also be Dirigible’s delicious sodas available.
SPEAKER
The speaker for the Dr. Edward Bell Forum will be author and naturalist, John Hanson Mitchell. He will be speaking about the interrelationship between human culture and nature on one square mile of land. The Scratch Flat Chronicles, his book series on the subject, will be the focus for the discussion. Scratch Flat is the 19th-century name for one square mile of land that encompasses a part of Littleton that has served as inspiration for John Mitchell’s focus on time, place, culture, and the endurance of nature.
