Join LCT Trustee Scott Lewis for an active 2 hour hike through parts of the 98 acre Sarah Doublet Forest. This walk has a dual focus of exercise and nature photography. We’ll get a workout on the steeper sections and we’ll look for photographic opportunities in the small details along the trail. Bring your hiking shoes and cameras!
There are some steep sections of this route so be prepared to climb and descend short, but steep, segments among the easier segments where we’ll see vernal pools, a variety of trees and possibly deer or other wildlife. The route will cover the Ed Bell Trail and the Tatatiquinea Loop with an optional extension on the Wunnuhhew Loop.
Please, no dogs on this hike as we’ll be looking for wildlife to photograph.
For more information about Sarah Doublet Forest visit its page here on the LCT website.
Starting point subject to change depending on Nagog Hill Road re-paving schedule. Check here the day before the hike for final decision.
