From The Friends of Reuben Hoar Library:
Stretch your legs on a walk around Hartwell Family Memorial Preserve while reading “Maybe Something Beautiful: How Art Transformed a Neighborhood” by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell. A Story Walk is an outdoor reading experience whereby a children’s book is deconstructed and the pages of the book are laminated and placed on wooden stakes or in permanent kiosks along a walking trail. Start in the parking lot and follow the story kiosks around the yellow trail to the Old Stone Bridge. The story will be available from 10 am to 5 pm.
Parking is available in the parking lot off Hartwell Ave. If the parking lot is full, we kindly request that you return at a later time. Remember to practice proper Covid-19 precautions – wear a mask, keep your distance from other groups, and use hand sanitizer if you touch the story kiosks. We thank the Littleton Conservation Commission and Littleton Conservation Trust for collaborating with us on this mini-golf week event.
