See a part of Long Lake that you don’t normally experience up close!
We are going to try this walk on Saturday, January 20th if the weather and ice conditions cooperate. Participation is limited to keep the group size manageable. We will make the final decision on Friday and contact those who have registered with the starting location for the walk.
This walk is best done on snowshoes. High boots and snow pants / gators will require high stepping through snow. Either way it is a bit more strenuous and requires more agility than our usual guided walks.
The reward for going out in the winter and working harder than a typical walk is seeing this part of Long Lake up closer than usual and seeing animal tracks.
There is no cost for this event but you must register. Please sign up by noon on Friday. Maximum of 10 participants. We will contact you by email on Friday with the final details.
Bookings are closed for this event.
