Every March or April, usually when it is a rainy night and temperatures are over 40 degrees F, amphibians like frogs and salamanders move to their breeding grounds, vernal pools. Watch these species move up to 1,000 feet and help them through obstacles, such as roads, during their migration.

Actual date depends on temperature, contact Amy Green agreen@littletonma.org for information and to be notified of the location, date and time.
